Definition

The term "cloud" refers to the utilization of a collection of services, applications, information, and infrastructure that is made up of pools of computing, network, information, and storage resources. These components may be swiftly organized, provided, installed and decommissioned, and scaled up or down, enabling an on-demand utility-like allocation and consumption model.

Cloud computing is defined by five essential characteristics, three cloud service models, and four cloud deployment models and cloud management has five major components.
